No doubt its a great colour John !

but did you know that ?

Plumbdinger + Plumbdinger = does not equal Yellow Dolly !

but,

Plumdinger + Rally Red + Lina mint + Yellow Dolly = A complete collection of all 4 colours holden released the XU1 in its first release

It truely would be a sight to be seen side by side

I know where there is a good Yellow Dolly with your name on it

Was the car from outer Western Sydney? If the answer is yes then I remember the car and can maybe dig up some photos of it.

Hi All

Anyone got some details on this car or more photos?

I think I am now the owner.

I bought it back in 94 from around the Bankstown area.

I recognised the stickers on the front windscreen, also had a hume performance sticker on the back.

When I bought the car it has a NOS bottle in the boot along with the battery and plumbing running up the passenger side rail. Vehicle came with its original block which had been bored out 60'. No head. Quick shift with reverse lockout on a holden 4 speed box. Had the original rear seat and steering wheel and aftermarket front racing seats that had no headrests when I got it. Half cage was still in it along with a racing 4 point harness.

Anyway any help appreciated, worked out from the VIN disk that it is a 8/10 sold by dealer #625. This is how it looks now.

Cheers

Thanks Gong, its a slow process.

That photo really looks like the same car, although it didn't look like that 10 yrs after when I bought it in 94'. It amazes me what sort of info pops up on this site.

Can tell you that when it was stripped back that it had the DSR quarter replaced as well as a hit on the passenger side door. Had to pull it out about 5mm so the doors lined up.

Thanks all
Mike

Purchased the car back in Dec 93 from a Warren who lived at Roselands??

CraigA if you have any photos would appreciate seeing them.

Thanks

Feeling left out by the SMP thread John :P

I would think many Plums went the same way as SMPs and changed colour.

This has to be some sort of record...a thread without a single post from Heath. He must have missed this one.
