i was going to rebuild the 253 but was offerd a 308 at a steal and the 253 needed crank regrind ect so i went with the 308 once i put the 9 inch in ill be getting it dyno tuned was thinking about going from hydraulic to a solid lifter to

no your driveline from flywheel backwards is better than mine
the old banjo isnt much chop ill be going to east side day or another test and tune soon with a 9 inch and some phatties that will get traction to see if i can sort it out from wheelspinning stupidly

HAHA! Fair enough too!

But you will need to gain some power to offset the losses of the 9" The Dyno tune will help heaps!

Sounds like my 290 did me proud then... brings a tear to my eye! LOL

yeah will be getting a carby rebuild to as it was stright off a choked up le monaro hehe thanks dad
a tune will really help it i reckon but a decent bit of tread will be the main winner looking at the times im quick of the like then after 60ft rember i was talkign about the wheel spin i kept getting well times drop shit ther on but then towards the end once it stops the mph goes right up plenty of room for improvement with some traction need tthose damm convos haha

The 290 still beat your piss weak 308! I didnt just get one run better than you, 5 of my 6 runs were faster than your best time for the day! :tease:

The same 290 drove all the way to heathcote and back! Its no trailer-queen with no rego! :tease:

When you change to a heavier diff and put bigger wheels on? Thats going to drain power!

Maybe shut your pie-hole until you put the numbers on the board? LOL

I still haven't tried that stuff, but everyone seems to have had a lot of luck with it. Might be greying up the interior of the blue car with it in the next little while... can you buy it in a low-gloss finish Ryan? How glossy is yours once it has all soaked in etc, I don't really want a shine on mine.

Heath, you can buy a matte version. I did my sunvisors in a matte charcoal grey (they were brown and out of an HX ute) and they came up awesome. Just did lots of light coats.

Those door trims look awesome Ryan. Are you planning to get this beast registered again soon?

Ar grouse. I was wondering what that message was about. There's a shitload of masking in painting those wheels. Should look pretty nice once they're on.

I reckon you should take the torry to a test n tune once that nine inch is in. Is the housing already modified to suit the Torana?

Those trims have come up nicely. Interested to see how much the dye wears over time.
Looks to be a great option for anyone on a budget.

yeah there is a shit load of masking involved in those wheels yeah the 9 inch is already torana mounts and length i need some decent gears but mine is a 3.08 or 3.00 or somethign silly like that need some 3.5s or 3.7s and need some wheels they may be coming very soon and if heathcote is still running by then yeah i will be heading up for anopther crack might get the carbie re done to
