The metal mice have eaten part of my plenum mainly drivers side. Found every leave from a full grown tree in there so metal mice have gone went mad over the years.
Any tips on the best way to repair and prevent further attacks would be appreciated.

Its such a bloody hard area to get to eh? I've always ended up doing a bodgy job "till next time, when I'll do it right".
Here's what LX5008 did. This is going full Monty.... (dont think G would mind me putting these up.)
That's the right way to do it once and for all!

Nice job, I was thinking of cutting an access hole but it looks easier removing the entire plenum cover / wiper support panel. Is it seam welded at the sides and spot welded under the sikaflex seam seal? What about the screen lip? Nice photos too. All I need to find now is nice clean rust free plenum!!!

Thanks heaps for the assistance; cut and remove plenum cover has to be the only way to go; since rust in the inaccessable panels will ultimately bite me if I just patch it up. Either that or never take it out on rainy days. Resto on the 2 door was first class and good to see an original rana restored like like that. There are lot of poor resto jobs out there to see the work that went into doing it right clearly shows - and results in a better than manufactured quality Torana. Inspired now.
