im be using a modified ford 221 crank i picked up 2 of them for 100 bucks
the 12 port head is apaarntly better suited to six individual runners thats why im using six throttle bodies the power curve of a 12 port haed is ment to be better than a 9 port, a 12 port has the same valve size a yt 9 port and has better runners with a bit of a port and clean up it should be ok only one way to find out i guess this is my first engine build with lots of help from my dad he will be putting the motor togethor for me
the cam rev range i want is around 2500-6000 i want a strong mid range motor with meaty torque
i also read on a forum a bloke with a 186 stroker 235 that was making 230 rwhp if i can make 200 il be over the moon
cheers
186 versus 202 power potential difference .

What cam are you using? I see it's a Crow, but what specs?
I know a bloke who had a 12 port on a 202 with a 40/80 cam and it reved to 7 grand without drama.
