I'm leaning towards a factory restoration. Everything stock standard. Even the carbs( Not that Al will like that). I guess if it's
done right it will be a nice little nest egg for him when he gets older.

Poor bloody kid! lol Put the original motor under the bench and let him have some fun with reversible mods.

Heath he only earns $380.00 per week and he is only 15, but maybe your right, we were talking about it today, might just rip it out and get it done.
Anyone got a idea how much for

Hot tank
crack test
bore
hone
change pistons on rods,( should i have ARP bolts installed or get starfire rods? )
Crack test crank
grind crank
etc???

Ball park figure?

Supose i should get a Yella Terra Head ( Anyone got one they want to part with?)

And a set of triples that are good? ( i really don't know what I'm looking at on ebay, some go for $300 and some go for $600,
or should we just get a new set?

Geeeeeze! I wish I earnt that when I was 15 lol :blink2:

Seriously though, I think a rebuild and a few mods are a good ideas. Gives the car a bit of punch and he can learn plenty in the process.
