Looking to see what people have done with the two breather outlets on front of the VN rocker covers. I've seen elbows installed with K&N filters but have been told thay accumulate oil and end up dripping etc likewise going for aftermarket covers and using two filler caps with breathers, oil and the like ends up everywhere. A mate is going for two braided lines with anodised fittings leading to an external catch can. Seen similar on drag cars etc not sure how practicable it is for the street. What are others doing? Whats the experience of people here?

I used to remove the elbow and tap the hole to 1/2" NPT then run braided line to an external catch can with a couple of large breathers (make sure the breather can is above the valve covers).
Lately I have just tapped the holes and blocked them then bolted on Edelbrock breathers in the middle of the valve covers. This seems to work OK and has less plumbing.
Neither method is strictly legal for street use.

Catch can is the better / safer option.
