Just finished loading up hope i didnt forget anything !

Also got a new helmet yesterday MCA must of made a killing this week as i have a mate that works there said they sold quite a few to us guys heading out sunday

Just wanted to say good luck to everyone who's going to the WSID on Sunday 5/7/09.

Hope you have a great day and run P.B.'s in your torana's. (would loved to have been there but family commitments)

and don't forget to post some photo's (just to remind us what we missed).

Today was a good day! We litterally spent the whole day working on my car yesterday. We were test driving it at 12:30 this morning. Ran a best of 15.1 which isn't too flash but atleast it helped me find where the problems are with the car. I'm still getting the hang of how to trick the silly electronic auto into doing what I want it to do. I went home a bit early because I was getting an intermittant nasty noise (think its the water pump on it's last legs).

It was good to see lots of faces that I haven't seen in a while. Looking forward to seeing those pics.

I'd like to thank Tiny for all the hard work he's put in arranging this day.

Had a great day although looks like ive blown a head gasket but a 12.4 off the trailer untuned wasnt a bad effort

Hey Guys and Gals!!

Firstly, as i said this morning, Many thanks to everyone who pariticipated in the day, Without you and all your friends, the day would not have been!

The weather was absolutely wonderful, (the sun was a bit harsh for the photographers, but i'm sure the pics will be fine!!).

The racing was awesome!!

We just counted out time slips... 20 passes! the HQ copped a caining all day!

I ran 9 runs, with a PB of 11.696 @ 114.42 Mph, it felt awesome!

Simmo ran a PB (well... any time was to be here PB it was her first 'real' race meeting!!) - 11.602 @ 115.04Mph - What a pass!! the best the car has ever done :) I'm really proud, and glad to say "I taught her everything she knows :tease:"

I hope the guys that did suffer some damage can get it all fixed and get out there racing again soon, and it was awesome to see some super powerful cars out there!

Once again thank you, and now i've just got to get postal details of everyone who ordered photos so we can send them out to you!

Mine ran 12.631 @ 107.75 pretty happy for the ol 308

Only issue for me during the day was my brake booster decided it didnt want to play anymore but just meant holding the pedal down harder :)

Good to see everyone again and a few new people.
