Had a blast today! Like Tiny i got 20 runs, but mine were a bit all over the shop. I ran a PB of 15.2, and consistent 15.2, 15.3, and 15.4 all day (except for a 16.0 and an 18.0 where i had really bad traction issues).

Was a great turnout with a lot of fantastic cars there.

A big thanks to Tiny for organising it all and cant wait for the next meet-up!

Still with that killer diff, or has that one expired?

Wouldn't you know it, I'm in Sydney this Sunday, but had man-flu last weekend anyways!!!

Thanks for the thanks everyone but i didnt actually do anything for the drag day accept help give out tickets :) :) Tiny did all the work (thanks babe)

Anyway

I had a BLAST yesterday...it was my first time racing a "real" car :) i have actually taken the ford down the 1/4 in VIC but really thats only like stalling it up at the lights and driving away.

I was packing it before i got int he car...but Tiny gave me a run through of everything i had to do....Fans on..foot off brake and line lock on...Burnout...foot off brake..line lock off fans off...stall it up and GO!!!!

My First run was 12.2....better than Tinys first runs in the car when he first started racing it :)

My aim for the day was to run in the 11`s

I DID!!!!! [email protected] for the car and my 1st PB (after the 16.1 in the fraud)

Thanks to everyone for a great day and to my wonderful husband for letting me thrash his car and burn about $500 worth of Rubber.......The Tyres were actually brand new and at $400 each we wont be racing it that much for a while lol

Hey yella, nah mate I got ahold of a 3.90 ratio out of a 4cyl lx so that has been working lately. But the killer diff is a backup if the worst was to happen. This 3.90 couldnt decide which wheel to spin. First it was the right, then the left, then both, then both and i was sideways. worst part was when the left one would spin in the water, then when i went to launch at the lights, i had wheelspin throughout first and second cause the right tyre still had water on it. I was standing stiff wheelspinning. wasnt much fun and I pulled it through for a solid 18.0.

Would be great to see Yella out there mate!

^ no worries Mitch. Sounds like you got it all sorted.

You never know your luck, although no time to do car stuff at the moment. It's a low car time, but better times are ahead ..... I hope.

Would love an LSD under Yella. Maybe I should start getting busy on making it happen.

Yes he is one of the team ski's we were all suprised how quick he went, the quickest he ever run was a 10.9 and he ran that straight of the trailer then ran a 10.6, it is a great looking car and goes like a bat out of hell.

They were really good they gave him two warnings and told him to back it off or you get booted, so he was consistent after that with 11's and 12s everyone got warnings, one of team ski ran three 10.9's and he was told to put it on the trailer, so i do have to say the track management gave enogh chances and it was a great day.

As soon as it's in and running i will give it a shake down on a wednesday night. If it wasnt in soccer season i might have bought the new daily out for some runs - LS1 Commo. next time for sure guys :D

I ran an 11 on my 3rd run at 10:30 in the moring and they told me to park my car.

I had another 6 runs in the arvo when I got fed up :)
