heya Guys,
I didnt get a chance to work on teh spreadsheet over the long weekend, but I'll update the following list with those i KNOW have paid. Dont freak if i missed you, I dont have access to the bank list right now to confirm anyhow!

The day will defintiely be a go-er, We have plenty of cars to race with and hopefully we get a few more takers for teh photography and that will be confirmed too!

Well This is the list as it stands! - It's a Paste from the spreadsheet (Surnames removed for security!) and sorry about the formatting... It just wont paste neatly!
I've also got the usernames next to the names as closely as i could get it.... Hopefully it's understandable for those who have paid! - The ? marks are a payment from Unclefesta but i dont yet know the driver's name!

I've removed those who have not yet paid (Other than Mitch, Jeff and Keith.... Cmon guys!! I know your gunna be there!!)

Pending some payments, We've ONLY for 23 people pre-paid for photography!! Thanks to those who have, and hopefully a few more will come on board otherwise The photography might not be able to go ahead!!

Hi SNAPT - I've emailed John Henman about this question, It's a good question!


I spoke with John today about some other questions that had arisen and these were:

Group C Race Cars such as YellowA9Xs and the Biante 69 Camaro - and Johns answer was:

"ANDRA have *STILL* not confirmed whether they will be allowed HOWEVER - John can see no reason as to why they cant race. The Main Sticking point wqould be if the car ran better than 12.0 if their CAMS licence would suffice to fulfill ANDRA requirements." That seemed to be the ONLY negative problem!
As John said - he would feel pretty safe in saying YES, Group C type cars can race and let's hope ANDRA come to the party too.



I Also Discussed with John the possibility of running a DYO (Dial Your Own) race bracket after lunch. He said this would be OK to do as long as we decided and let him know ASAP.
it would work something like this:

Grudge Racing (Heads up) from open till Lunch time.
After lunch break we would begin the Dial Your Own bracket - Each racer that wanted to have a go would choose their "Dial In" Time - and race another car. The racer who gets closest to their pre-chosen Dial in wins! the other racer is OUT (for the remainder of the bracket race).
This goes on Untill there is one winner and one runner up and that's it!

Then of course Grudge Racing would re-commence.

Personally i'd LOVE to give it a go because i'm pretty competitive and i think it would be great fun! The WHole idea of DYO racing is a powerful car can be beaten by a slower but more consistant car and get booted out!!
BUT IT'S UP TO YOU!

For those eliminated, or not competing, there would be NO RACING while this DYO bracket is being run, and with a field of 40 cars running that would take around 2 hours to completely cycle through.

Please now guys, let me know if you are interested in the DYO racing in here and by clicking on the POLL i will add.
