Royal Plum is the colour. It would look best IMHO with the La Plata Silver stenciling.

There is a whole range of 'purples' out there.....but be carefull!

As my painter said to me when i suggested purple....."most ppl who paint their cars purple, are sick of it within the first year"!

He was right! It is a difficult color to get right!

Toranavista is on the money, unless you are thinking of a more violety colour called "Ultra Blue"

Was the colour available in SL/R 5000's ?

I've had my RPM SL/R since high school and haven't got sick of the colour, it's a talking point and many people like how rare it is.

A lot of them were painted to other colours.

Orchid Metallic is a sweet colour.

Not sure if it was an option on the LX (I know it was on the LH though).

I've also heard it called a Slak-Pak.
