And back to the debate...

Taken from July 1967 wheels magazine.

Speedo error:

Indicated MPH:- 30 (actual 34) 40 (actual 43) 50 (actual 53) 60 (actual 63.5) 70 (actual 75)

So there you go.....Speeds had to be toned down to avoid panic.

Not long now Outer

Day 3 Wrap Up........Not In Any Particular Order.

TA's allegedly came out with a spare steering wheel option.

Evolution isn't just about Mitsubishi Lancers.

Bulldogs don't have tails.

There is no substitute for cubes unless it is a HB Torana.

Four cylinder Toranas are leaping out of the shadows.

vbvbvb088 and HB1200 should be fast-tracked to guru status.

There is actually a HB Fraternity that generally attracts 200 people per gathering. By chance it only requires one HB to pick up the lunches from the shop.

Plus 4's maybe rare, but will never be in the same league as a Brabham Torana or ever referred to as "the jewel in the crown".

Hb's had the potential to be taxis.

Sir Jack is a modest gentleman.

LJB Rad may have bought a HB Torana.

South Australia is facing a population explosion.

Owning a HB Torana is like growing a new body.

Kaz From Adelaide is M.I.A.

Outer is very handsome and having insomnia is OK.

The leader in the debate is too hard to call and preferential votes from 4 cylinder LC's and LJ's may be required.

The Hb Brabham card is yet to be played.........

Was that a disturbance in the force.....

Or did Brad just buy a HB?

Just as the "force" has exposed LJB RAD, it has also betrayed you Outer Control.
You fear "the Brabham card"

Could't believe my luck....

Managed to snap some footage of the rare TA concept car cruising around the Adelaide Hills today.
Didn't appear as powerful as we have been led to believe, however at times it was outer conrol.

APL,

Do you still want me to bring the 200 sandwiches on Sunday?

I can only fit the parachutes OR the sandwiches, not both.

HB1200

It may be somewhat selfish to only provide food for the HB fraternity to eat in front of the owners of other models.
I suggest you pack in the parachutes, as they can be used to shelter the HTC members from the forecast showers.

Pencils went out with HB Brabhams we all know only artists and bogans use pencils but the famous BF goodrich TA massive tyres were developed to try to control the power of the TA hence their name

No took sanwiches from home.

And if you owned a HB then you could of fed the whole school !!
Further more, if it was a "practical" version, you could have taken the family pet for a ride without the thought of having a tail wagged in your face.

Also "snack-pack" custards weren't invented then..

APL That footage has got me the TA is so manouverable and powerful in this day and age of speed cameras and red light cameras {no brakes} i will concede that my HB SL auto is the car for this time. I will save the TA for tarmac events and hopefully one day they will rerun the cannonball run and then i could get it out and mix it with the elite marques{ferrari,porsche,a9xs etc}
All i can truly say guys and girls love the beast and in Eric Banners words of wisdom dont put the love of your life at risk
because you dont have to prove anything their reputations go before them .Goodnight.

Outer, can you please confirm from your Mega Torana Library (Minus the Wheels, July 1967 edition) that it was the mighty Hb that instigated the great Aussie Muscle Car Scare ??

Why nervous? Does the TA have a custard problem?

I think your brakes will be fine, even after fitting the mast and rigging the parachute as a sail.
