Yes - the 'ol HB.
PB (as well as Colin Bond, Gricey, George Shepherd, Bob Morris et al are the most credentialed to speak on this)
The reason this forum is grouse is that there are many divergent views...but common thread is the ooodles of information and dedication to one's favourite model.
Anyway I was thinking of a way to promote the HB and I came up with the attached.
1) A 1990 photo of my HB at Kew Boulevard overlooking the Melbourne skyline. Equates to I have owned of what I talk about.
2) A drawing I did in 1985 of one of the most legendary Holdens of all time. Meatloaf said 2 out of 3 aint badbut 3 on 3 is better.
Note date and time in bottom left hand corner. (6/7/1985 at 12 lunchtime..which was Wedgewood pasties and Pampas apple turnovers have long since gone.... LOL.
3) A letter I wrote in 86 to HDT complaining that the rules were against Holden as they were unduly penalised with the CAMS rules at the time. Any way PB responded with an invite and so me and three mates went down to HDT for a tour (Salmon or Bertie St I dont remember)and split pin Phil Brock showed us around and gave us lunch.
Anyway for fun I have modified the original response letter for a laugh. The original is easily visible.
So in the context of Holden history everyone would oblige thet the HB ranks highly....
