Over here in Perth in the Quokka.

HB.....$8,000

TA....$500

Says it all I would say. {You cant put a price on quality darky.}Dont tell everybody darky as you will ruin my super fund.

One of my new best friends brad said it all at the meeting in his historical summary of the HB and it vertually said that they didnt go.

Yeah, but everybody knows that Brad is a closet HB fan, that secretly wants one.
So until he manages to convince someone to part with their valuable nest egg, he will just have to be happy with the LJ.

APL BRAD just quoted what he read in black and white print [no colour in those days].
All gurus get there knowledge from print so im told so maybe he should be promoted to guru status,
that being the case it has to be true i repeat again they dont go.

As I clearly pointed out at the time, the term "to fly" was not meant to be taken literally.
For indeed, a Torana is a motor vehicle and not an aeroplane !!

Also I cannot agree with the guru statement.

Being a text book hero is certainly no substitute to owning one of these rare collectable pieces of Australian motoring history.

That is why many a Torana enthusiast openly admits to wanting a HB.

Brads comments left me feeling a little like a HB boot without parachutes (or 200 lunches)!

I took it as a cry for help. Sometimes the beaty and allure of the HB can become overwhelming. At the moment, he sees his search for his dream car as a life goal that is getting further away by the day. The "Brabham Code" of the inner sanctum was broken by reciting HB diss-information in a public place without prior consent of the council. Such information, as spread to keep such an amazing vehicle affordable, should be used with caution so as not to deter worthy owners from potentially purchasing a true muscle car.

Yes, I too felt the pain of the true believers present at the meeting.

The "Brabham Code" that forms the constitution of the inner sanctum, must at all times remain secret.
This is simply to avoid panic and hysteria, from the realisation that there is just not enough HB's in the present time to fulfil everyones dreams and desires.

The only cry you may hear HB1159 is the cry for help uf a loved one if they get stuck in a rice pudding or desert
and there is nothing you can do about it because you are in the HB.As for APL you have allreasy encountered my

I'll be there in a flash to rescue them in my manual HB. I can even parachute into remote pudding trouble spots to save the day!

And with that is the reason they are very suited for donor cars and recreational fishing grounds. :blink:
