They have benefits

Decreased stopping distance is one

They have disadvantages

Increased pad wear is one

Theres no real improvement to a standard Torana by using slotted discs if you intend to beat it up

The brakes were rubbish to begin with and will be rubbish regardless of slots , pads , etc

If you want to use them repeatedly , and hard... upgrade the system.

Hi all,
I have the late UC girlock alloy calipers and need to know what thread they are. I need to get stainless steel braided hoses made and the local brake shops in Maitland have asked for samples that I do not have.

I do have a set of hoses from an LX with PBR cast calipers and they screw in ok but very loose, so not convinced they are correct.

Any help appreciated.

Also can anyone recommend a place that can make the hoses for me in Maitland or Newcastle?

Thanks
Leigh
