Tell him that Anthony from his trade school class saw him when he was leaving the drags, i was hanging out the window of me skyline waving but he didnt look at me, his car looks heaps better than it did a couple of years ago.

Stedz, that was a really nice sounding car and looked a treat too. did you have mufflers on it at all??
you might have noticed me checking out your car in the pits, i was the one wearing an edelbrock hat with a couple of mates.

No worries Deb, they've been sent to Brett.
How was Bendigo on Sat nite? I wish I could have been there for a cold one and a chat. It was great to meet some new faces and catch up with some old ones too.
Can't wait to be a part of the next one, and would like to get up there again for the Eastside Cruisers meet next week, but work will soon put an end to that idea.

Great day.

Knoath, Thanks heaps for the tshirts too, im proud to say its my first TORANA tshirt!!!! Now i just need the boy to build me one!!

i cant wait for the next gmh torana drag day, out of all the drag days ive been to, id have to say it was the most laid back, relaxing day. One huge difference to say other drag days, was it wasnt just all big horsepower cars there on the day, there were heaps of street driven, and street legal cars there on the day. So for me that was a highlight!!

as for the sat night, i piked it early cos i was soo buggered, i swear after a week of inhailing petrol and oil fume leaks from lxchev and then to add sitting in my car all day and racing non stop and then the burnout fumes later on, all i wanted to do was sleep. But was awesome to catch up with all the guys and girls who hung around that night for the bbq!! we should do it more often!!

Totally agree with Deb on how laid back and friendly the atmosphere was, as well as what type of cars were having a go on the day.

Unfortunately I had to head back to Melbourne for a 21st that night so was unable to hang around, so I'm keen as mustard for another heathcote or similar where guys and gals can hang around for a bbq and chat more. Would cap off the day perfectly I reckon.

Did anyone get any Pics or Video of my car going down the strip? My girlfriend was a little chicken to get out behind the car to film it like others were!

yeah sweet, yeah i dont think i got much smoke on any of my burnouts, i got to learn how to do that still :D Next time! Maybe have to get u to show me how to do them, as u are quite the expert now!

Spewing my car wasnt working properly when i raced u! it would have been a close call at the end (i think i broke early as well! i thought i had already crossed the line! if u look at the timeslip my speed is like nothing!)

Put your heel on the brake and your toe on the accelerator and use your other foot for the clutch.

That's all for now. Didn't take anywhere near as many pics as I should have, missed so many cars from the day, cos I kept wondering around all over the place, chatting to people, working on Deb's car, etc.

Next up was Mark in his HJ 308 Ute. Unfortunately these pics don't do his skid any justice. The Ute looked and sounded great on the pad, and he hooked it around like a pro with some awesome donuts!
