Karlie has told me I need to have everything perfect for the wedding in may next year.
So looking to order the rest of the jets etc etc for the final tune in the next month or so and will probably look at finally finishing off the dash.
I'm gunna throw some lowered springs in the rear for the big day (will do a trial beforehand) just to get it sitting perfectly.

Neat sprint cars....
I used to watch them at Ascot Park here as a kid a bunch.

Still sorting out front brakes at the moment, made new hard lines, found my old calipers but can't find the frOcking bolts or spare rubber lines.
Almost there though. Should be done tonight, then its off for a wheel alignment.

Had 2x LJ XU-1s (glacier white one was the brides transport)
LJ GTR (light green) was the bridesmaids
Juniper car is my Dads and the orange one is obviously what I drove to and from the wedding in
still waiting on the professional shots, but hopefully should have them soon

I never could work out the deal with the bits of toilet paper stuck across from the bonnet to the windscreen over there on wedding cars?

congrats on the wedding mate, Only thing i have found with the satin ribbons is they usually leave a few scratch marks in the shape of a V on your bonnet , mainly near the front of the bonnet where it flaps around while driving

And they are usually tight enough not to flap when I put them on. I tape them into the door gap so that it doesn't get "pulled" when you close the door

Bought some new tyres for the torana,
something a little better than the cheapos that I had on it (they are now on the corolla, the main catalyst for the new torry tyres was the corolla needing new tyres)
Bought some KU31s to try, decision came down to these or RE001/2s
KU31s were $30 a tyre cheaper, so they got the nod.
Will have to try them out soon.
Hoping to get my front end and brake setup back under the car in about a months time
Thinking of painting it orange?
Any thoughts?
I'm never going gloss black for a front end ever again.
Water marks are just too hard to clean off and its impossible to keep clean.
Silver seems to look pretty good, but I think orange will tie in better?

wow! thanks for the kind words man.
I've had the thing for nearly 10 years now, so it definitely hasnt been a quick progression, its never going to be a million dollar elite show car, but somedays I do actually look at it and think that I'm VERY lucky to have what I do and while I can pick it to pieces, comparing it to other peoples toranas, at the end of the day, its still something pretty decent
I've got a photo to throw up later that shows the silver front end at the moment.

This is one from the wedding that really shows the front end more than others-
