I agree with Baron, but I agree with some others too. There are a few options that are the right option if you know what I mean
It's a Torana; it's good. It's good how it is, mildly built, fully built, etc.
I wouldn't take on a FULL rebuild (like car comes off the road for a few years then goes back with everything replaced) if I hadn't done a fair bit of work before. You can do everything without doing it all in one big 'session'...
Best example was that bloke who came on with a stock 6cyl UC and wanted to do crazy chev, 6spd, kit, diff, interior, paint etc, and he was 16. He wanted it done by the time he was 18. I had bugger all experience working on cars back then and I told him that he should tone down the plans and make it a cheaper, more P plate friendly car. Everyone had a go at me for discouraging him.
Two years later the car had been sitting half in bare metal for a year and a half and he was driving some wanked up Commodore. I still have him on msn lol
