That is absolutely crazy. We didn't even that much water up here in the Burdekin when it flooded in January.
Thank god the cars were saved.

We're not copping at bad as you blokes over here in Perth
but was going to take a leak about 6.30 Thursday morning &
thought the rain sounded rather close so looked in the back room
to see we now had an indoor water feature. Its an old patio now
flat/storeage room but the roof has bugger all pitch & if it pours the rain cant get
of the roof quick enough so weeps in onto the suspended ceiling sheets.
It was coming thru the sheet joins like a waterfall & nearly ankle deep.
Only problem is everything off the XU1 was in the other room so thru a
pair of pants on & was lugging diff centers, gearboxs, all the interior &
boxes of parts to another room in the house.
Still nothing got damaged, just got it in time, only a little damp.
Finally got some brekky & spent the best part of the day soaking it all up,
couldnt tell you how many buckets full I lugged out, lost count.
I'll just have to keep an eye on it til I can replace & repitch the roof in spring/summer.
