supercharged gemini help

the su seems to be fine( although it could need a completly different needle i am not sure) there are no leaks in the intake system, the supercharger is only geared to run about 6 psi at max revs. the timing is locked at about 15 degrees and has the vacuum advance disconnected.
when i start it the car idles fine and will rev pretty well ( not perfect) with no load. when driving it will drive fine when not making boost i.e. light throttle but as soon as the boost gauge hits positive the car will die and if i back off again to part throttle it will drive fine and really smooth. if i plant it and keep the throttle down sometimes when i lift off it will backfire. my onlt thought is that maybe the fuel pump isnt up to supplying it with enough fuel or something funny is happening with the fuel when on boost and it wont let it through... anyway here are a few pics. any help would be great thanks

What do you mean by die? does it conk out completely or just starts to misfire? Id be checking my plugs (if you can get enough driving time) to see if tis rich/lean.
What needle is in the carby?
Is the carby opening all the way up under load (ie. the piston isnt being obstructed by anything?)
If the blower is hitting boost and the carby isnt letting enough air/fuel in, then it would act like a blocked exhaust or similar where the car just wont go anywhere.
Pull the cabry off, check the butterfly in the rear, make sure it functions correctly, maybe throw a rebuild kit at it, check what size needle its running (should have two or three letters stamped on the needle) Im guessing its a carby issue.

1. Is the carb capable of supplying the needed fuel
2. Is the old Ignition system not up to the task trying to ignite the fuel under boost (fuels harder to ignite under pressure)
also once the cars running right you may need to change down to a colder plug due to the higher combustion temperatures. it almost sounds like a fueling issue, do you have the means of hooking up a incar fuel pressure guage to see if the pump is supplying enough fuel if your thinking it may be the pump?

May be the carbys not supplying enough fuel.
Adjust or modify carby (if not already as turbo's need modified carbys)
Or replace carby all together
Can someone here advise what carby to use as there have been a few turbo carby 202's here.

Oh the ignition under boost is a good point too. Perhaps eliminating that would be the cheapest and simplest? VL turbo ignition coil perhaps? (Before playing with the carby?)

Other options are a small DCOE weber, or a stromberg, or twin carbs etc.

rebuilt the dizzy-adjusted advance springs reset timing-
new coil and ballast resistor-mechanical secondary carby mod on the nikki
NOW pulls 7000 rpm-no more breaking down in the ignition-go jimmy
