If any one comes across a car with the ADR TAG (ALC33634A) or VIN Tag (82911CL181445) can you please let me know as the ADR Tag matches (MY CAR) that has had the Tags missing for a long time. A Car has resurfaced in Melbourne at the start of April  2014 that is wearing this Tag according to another Forum Member he no longer has any more details about who it was so can people please keep an eye out for this.

So who has the car with those tags on Bazza ? I assume you are the one that advised him those tags are on another car ? Excuse me if i am wrong...

And also assuming that they actually belong to gavwell's car ?

I have no idea who has the car or where the car is. For privacy reasons, I usually respond off-list to enquirers if I can see a problem and I am uncertain as to whether the enquirer actually owns the car or is simply asking about it.

 

If gavwell has a car with the subject Chassis Number but no tags, there is a high likelihood that someone (knowingly or unknowingly) has the matching tags.

If you spot tags for sale you can inform insurance companies, some have a fraud squad that deals with this issue.

 

Also ebay aren't allowed to sell them (or even the rivets) so you can report the advertisement to ebay.

Yep, someone beat me to it and it's now gone.  Lucky I took a screen shot.

 

There was also one on Ebay that I'll post up when I get home tonight.

Report them to CrimeStoppers and insurance companies first so that they can track them down.
