Doesn't matter; since I posted the VIN if a future potential buyer sees a car with that VIN and runs a search on the VIN (or body no.) they'll still know 8D77RG J545670X is rebirthed.

L32's really aren't a big money car so spending 5% + on tags is ridiculous but I'm sure it won't stop some; he may also get some offers.

They are still a restricted item but ebay doesn't monitor every listing; you can list them under car parts, etc.

Could some please help me identify what model Torana this engine number is. I've been led to believe that it is an LJ GTR engine block

By the first 1972 tag I think this bloke is getting ADR tags off an S and pretending they came off a GTR or XU1. I've never seen the ADR to BODY/VIN tag cross referencing done this way before. I can't see the numbers on the 1973 tag.

One minor detail that makes a big difference, it's great that you typed in the numbers but please don't add extra characters (like dashes) otherwise the search function can't find an exact match in the future...

Shiney it is only on the back of Adelaide Built Cars ADR tags, the last 4 letters of the PSN number, it is a Adelaide GMH Plant thing, handy if you own a Adelaide Built Car and u have lost your little PSN Tag. I don't know if the Adelaide LH or LX Torana's have it on the back of there ADR Tag, but the LC-LJ do on the back of there ADR Tag.
