Should've given it an L34 engine, would've been worth heaps more!
But seriously... he/she destroyed an LX SS Hatch Body Plate to do that, what a dip shit?
That plate should have come from an 03/76 complianced, "ALX" chassis numbered, Papaya hatch. Looks like it was originally an M20 trans too, such a waste, even a six cylinder manual SS hatch would pull decent bucks these days, but it's worth nothing now.

He may as well have stamped them L30 N27 GUZ

It will probably sadly fool someone though!

It was a VD model to start with and they hacked it up, makes no sense. Probably did it for the the L31 coding to raise value maybe, but the worst attempt I have ever seen.

I believe it's worth nothing anyway because they're illegal to own and it's illegal to rebirth a car.

I don't want to derail this thread with yet another argument about the legalities of having ID plates off vehicles, but I believe you're confusing body plates with compliance plates?
Registration authorities don't give a toss about body plates.
However, defrauding somebody by misrepresenting a car is something entirely different again, but I doubt it would actually become an offense until you affixed the modified plate to a non-matching vehicle and money changed hands?

They aren't even 5000 tags.

They aren't even 5000 tags.
Some people have no idea. I recall many who would call every SL/R an SL/R 5000, they didn't know better.

Two different systems...
The built-in forum search, which nobody seems to have any luck with, will search the actual database and so is more or less "live"...
However the same information won't show up on google until the next time their little bot visits, I'm not sure how often that happens but it obviously hasn't been here since your previous post?

Rightio. The post that Tinkers put up on two weeks ago shows up in google.
