Dont quote me but Im sure the 9 port will call it quits at ~330hp naturally aspirated.
The Jzed head should make around upto ~400hp naturally aspirated and a bit more with some porting.
I could easily be wrong though.
Cheers.

In fact, it might be more than 12 ports.
It might be lots and lots of ports.
I'm not saying and you wont squeeze it out of me!

Higher comp will give you more, but it will detonate itself to pieces in no time at all. The Holden 6 has poor heat control.. and will detonate without adequate fuel supply and an excess of octane points.........
If anyone is claiming more than this they are having a lend of themselves.
Cheers Greg...

I can see it now Rodmo,...... It can go from zero to just under 100 kms/hr in under four seconds, and can do up to 400 kms per charge.Looking at 350+ from this baby when it's done

I run BP 98 lately and have achieved low 13's on a stock block (some mods but stock parts) and a YT 12-port cast head. I have just replaced the open Bango diff with a Hilux and once I have the LSD installed hope for 12.8-12.9s from a N/A.
I guess the power would be around 200-210 at the wheels and its my weekend street car.

the original poster may have said it, but others have brought in power figures from NON standard head engines, hence the question.

you know, sometimes, when someone gives you some advice... you should "shut up " and take it.
Not everything needs a reply..

I have a really old mag with an article that had a full on (for the time) drag red motor in it...it claimed 350 hp...the std head was extensively modified (I suppose that makes it non std??)
The problem is that the thing wants to fly apart at somewhere around the 320 mark....you can apply solutions to stop or at least slow it down.
I would have thought the stock head won't handle anymore than 200 hp...or they would have left the head alone in an XU1.

I would have thought the real answer is how long is a pice of string.

Take from the second line what you will...
