Exhaust is finally fitted.

Castle hill pipes, 2 1/2" all the way back. Stainless from the back seat to the bumper.

Final bill (less repairs) $3700.

Towing cost to cart the car 3ks there & 3 ks back .... $250! (& he is doing me a favour apparently at that price).

I am so frOcking sick of being fleeced in this frOcking town!

Towing costs sound about right. Same sort of expenses up here.

Exhaust cost however. Well..... thats a joke.

I paid $1250 for mine, twin 2 1/2" from extractor flange to bumper and 3" stainless on rear section and two glass packed straight through mufflers before diff.

$3700 seams a little dear, even with new extractors, but you do live in a mining town :<_<:

Thats pretty much standard type of cost up this way. I was quoted $185 one way to my car into town to get the exhaust fitted. However Im 5klm from the shop.

No way $50.... that would be awesome!!!! You'd never have to bother carrying tools in the car in case of break down... just get towed home.

$185 was return trip of about 10klm total. So $92.5 either way.

That was the cheapest quote from the reputable tow mobs...

Yeah $50 seems pretty standard unless you are going a long way.

I'm with RAC so I get free tows if I break down.

I expected $75 each way, but i didn't bank on a useless driver or a greedy boss.

Car is home, time to move on. I need to get the rear end in the air so i can decide what i'm going to do.
