9.9sec at 148mph on my old '74 Z900 Kawasaki.......... had a 1200cc stroker Yoshimura engine it it built by Pop's himself. 196 RWHP. OH YEAHHH!!!! It was my ride to work bike and at the time it was just 0.15sec off the national record for AMB held by a purpose built drag bike.

10.001 at 148mph in my 1969 Chrysler VIP. 8V92 roots blown 440BB Chrysler on pump super and 225 radial street tyres. Also my every day street driver back on 1996. I won 'Open Eliminator' at that meeting.

Hope to get back to the track soon for some casual fun in my current LJ as it's been too long and I miss it.

I did a 11.2 at 129mph but had some serious problems at Calder. That was with the 355 with a 6/71. Been off the road now for 15 months with new build. Gone for a 350 chev and 10/71, hoping for 7s without too much t&t.. Cost blew out a little more then planned!!

My first ever 1/4 mile pass was 12.02@121MPH on my bike, with a best of 11.8. I'm expecting my torry to do low 11s.

Just an update, I'm down to 11.23@121 on the bike now, thats still with a poor 60' in the 1.9s. I have ran 125mph a couple of times so I reckon I can crack a 10 on it. I'll be retiring the bike from drags soon because I'm about to get a drag car going. It's going to be a interesting, it should run around the same ET as the bike except much lower MPH but way better 60's.

Now I'm down to 11.01 @ 127 :buttrock:

15.0 at drags. black 202, XU1 cam. stock ausi 4 and open 3.08 banjo with 13" sprintmasters.

14.7 with G-Tech (no more drags in SA) same motor as previous. supra 5 and 3.55 LSD BW same 13" sprintmasters. (I recon the 3.08 gears where better as I'm changing into 5th across the line)

hard to tell. G-tech only does 0-60mph and 1/4 mile time.
feels quicker off the line mainly due to LSD and no fear of smashing diff. Changing back to 3.08 in near future so will find out soon enough.

If you do wanna run it properly, and you're scared of your gear ratio being a problem, you could always get a spare set of wheels with a slightly different profile (seriously though, if you can swap cogs quickly, shorter is pretty much just better because of the torque multiplication), and for those times you wouldn't need something crazily sticky so it probably wouldn't cost too much.

I'm changing ratios mainly because the car spends more time driving between Adelaide and Mannum than city driving.
Also when the car was a Mallala I was hitting top speed down back straight and over revving.

Will keep the 3.55 center and lock it up and do as you suggest with the bigger rear wheels/ tyres incase I ever drag race it again.

Same as mine, 3.08 for weekend use and when ive taken it to the drags i put the locked 3.55 back in.

With some additive, 14 inch rims and m21 ratio it crosses the line 5500 and a best of 13.6.

Looking at a new heavy clutch and some track tyres with avgas before going again, it is highly adick tive thats sure.

Been a while since i have updated, 12.165 on street tyres and 12.110 on semi slicks. Some suspesension changes and ill be into the 11's, although i dont want to change the stiff suspension. Slicks felt hell loose without front runners, will probly stick to street tyres.

Must be getting a good hookup off the line with the street Tyres. Mines similar can give it full throttle after stalling up and get no wheelspin. Ive started to make the swap to running e85 now. Shud go close to running 11s. Go the UCs !

Yeah i was suprised with them, I had 12 runs to get that 12.165 pass, best of 1.898 60ft. Yup! Go the mighty UC's!

13.9 on first pass with a stock stroke 308, vaccuum leak and ignition/carby issues. Should have it all sorted by next run. Hoping for mid-high 12's.
