Don't know how I missed your post on the 23rd Dec with it all painted up but when I saw it I thought, shit that's neat - bloody great job!... then to see you came 1st runner up in that class - well done to to both of you & well deserved! I've always taken a lot of interest in your car build's & I hope to call on your experience when I finally get around to my build soon with what I'm planning. If I can take away a fraction of what you put into your cars I'll be on to a winner for sure.

I drove my car down and back and around all weekend and she didn't miss a beat. We trailered the orange one down to save of fuel and she didn't like the heat much down there. Did not expect to win 1st runner up, maybe a long shot the story award as being female I wrote a 6 page story on the car. When being presented the award by Dave Raynor he said that he loved the car and that is what they are looking for in a real street car, John Bowe also complemented on the car. Yes Keith the smile is still on my face. Thank you so much to Joe and Keith as mentioned by Matt, if it wasn't for you both we never would have made it. The car was Matts workings, I was just his apprentice as was my mum with her dressmaking skills. One of the Rare Spares promo girls said she noticed the car from across the oval and loved it then asked me what kind of car it was (chicks love the colour).

very few people no behind the scenes how hard you 2 both work and its a credit to both you guys

yes i was tickled pink and kinda proud when matt rang me and told me of the good news....your car is a genuine streeter,cruiser,racer all the above definately NO TRAILER QUEEN HERE...seeing you belinda race the car for the first time and run strong 14.1 quarter mile times was impressive enough for all to see...in my eyes you got first prize and i mean that in so many different ways..

He has left it up to me to finish the car as far as i can before he takes over the final painting, so if all goes to plan, silver Torana could be on the road sometime this year.

Already have a plan for my silver Torana. A good friend introduced me to a top class award winning spray painter who owns & runs his own shop. He has viewed my car & speaks my language. He has left it up to me to finish the car as far as i can before he takes over the final painting, so if all goes to plan, silver Torana could be on the road sometime this year.

Should hit him up for a bit of tutelage Matt. Congratulations for the award, we all knew you had to get a break eventually, small things that make you much more positive IMO. Once again congratulations guys.

Thank you for your kind words, as i said this before its your CRAFTSMANSHIP that has got the cars
to where they're today, as for myself i'm over the moon to see that what you have created has finally
paid off so to speak. In the past month or so i have seen you work tiresomely day/nite to have Bel's
car & not to mention the great feat to detail on my car. Matt i only hope that in the past month i have
tried to keep your spirits high and its been a great pleasure to hear you laughing which is not the norm
for you.

Just finished reading your build thread as I haven't been on here long. Congratulations on an awesome build! :clappin:
