Nah, Only one job! Most of which was at Maccas when i was doing most of the stuff to my car.
Paint and materials = about $500
Interior etc = about $1500
Other stuff (New rubbers etc) = $500
There is prob more stuff i have forgotten about... But yeh about $2500 on this rebuild minus the wheels and tyres.. that's about another $1500.
I haven't really spent massive amounts of coin on my car! I really really want to sometimes though! IF I had the money, I would spend 10k on a paint job, and 10k on a new motor!
And Marc, if i remember correctly, didn't you score your hatch for an absolute STEAL many years ago? I remember being mega mega jealous when you showed me on MSN

This was the Drag day of the famous Handbags at Heathcote Race...
It was 43 Degrees that day and everyone had vapour lock issues! But we all still gave our cars hell and had a blast!

Where was I up to?
Next thing i did, was probably lose the 4WD stance. Put some IRS commo springs in the back, and put some new springs in the front.
And a more recent interior shot.
Also now with The legends signature on the glove box!!!

Ummm the front springs say that they are Low V8 Springs, but i think they have been compressed or something, because they sit about 1.5" lower than my old Low V8 Springs!

Ok, Well... About at this point in time... I couldn't really spend much more money on the car.... I needed to start saving for a house. So only little jobs got done (A lot of those ones you put off, cos they are just boring and no fun!)
So a few little jobs i did was, fix the dodgy fitting front spoiler, tidied the engine bay to be a bit more respectable. Fitted a 4 core Radiator, with AU fans that i had. Also fitted some Chassis Rail alloy plugs that Col (coolngroovy) gave me when he came down to Melbourne!
I have done a bit more work on the engine bay (Gary came over a couple of times, and we cleaned up the wiring more and touched up some paint... So ill get a pic of that soon!
Anyway, next I better add my "Street Machine" write-up

So, Maddy and I went out and had a bit of a photoshoot with both our cars... Because we also are trying to get her car into the mag
Here are a few pics!
And of course, here is the write-up!
It was in January 2009, if any of you have it, and didn't know my car was in it!
Anyway, I got some more news on the SM front, but I will tell you more about that in a few weeks.
