Check your old issues of 'Street Machine'.
The car features in 2 issues.
I've always admired it.....for good reason.
late 1993 issue from memory, maybe late 94 - photo shoot was on an indoor tennis court. Mt. Gambier car at the time

Howard, Slaveman did own a very nice Black hatch but it is not this car.
I think the guy who owned it in SA was Justin or Jason?
Yes Alf! Black sux. It was not my prefered colour when I went shopping but what was available.
You know I am only pulling your leg Darkie, Your car is one awsome A9X and I am very jeolous!
Wish it were in my garage!

I thought one leg was longer than the other as I seem to keep going in circles!
What shall I do this week?
Awe gee, I might just pull the engine and gearbox out again for fun!
I never seem to tire of that it would appear.
Grumble Grumble.
If it keeps giving me the irits, you may have a chance to put it in your shed.

I think it's the best looking Torana I've ever seen. The perfect muscle / classy look combined all in one. The black is just sensational. I want one!!
Hard to argue with that!
As for the pics being photochopped, geez i hope not - it was ROH that sent me the pics, decent ones too at 5MB each.
Here's a pic of the car back in the 90's. It's amazing the difference wheels can make, not that there was anything wrong with those nice wide V5 Simmons.

According to roh 19x10 front 19x10.5 rear no tyre specsSo does anyone know the specs of the new rims? Since the old ones were 15 x 8 and 10's with 285/40 and 345/35's - they look tiny when compared to the new set! Would love to know the sizes...

The lighting on the wheels just looks artificial to me compared to the lighting on the rest of the car, the shadows of the wheels on the ground match that of the car and the light direction on the wheels seems like it could match the light direction on the car, but there is just "too much" light on them for it not to be a very very well setup photo shoot (with spotlights and some big reflector plates) or they have made some changes in photoshop.

Photoshopping a coloured car to be black is difficult. The black is so awesome, its hard to do a nice orange without making it look fake. I'm normally pretty good at this, but its got me.
Photoshopping a black car to be anything else is impossible.
No one can do it, so don't feel bad
