Being next to bunnings, annoying people will think its great to park right in the middle of us. So we all can get there at 9am, we will be able to cordon off our own area and keep us all together.
If people can't make it at 9am, then you might find it hard to get yourself a spot. We will do our best to leave spots, but can't guarantee anything. If you know you won't get there by 9, maybe get a mate to "save you a spot" by double parking or something...

Yeah for those who can't make it by 9:00 - 9:30, we will do our best to block off as much area as possible and stop the general public from getting in. We'll probably actually take some bollards and ropes and lock the entire area off if possible, with a few conveniently placed Torana's to help us mark our territory out. The more cars there at the start, the better.

Good stuff! It was good to get the Torry's to the eastside meeting last night, and also have a good chat about the carshow!
Word is spreading well, and it looks like there should be really tough and unique Torry's coming along! Fingers crossed Brocky is looking out for us up there, and tell's the big man to give us some nice weather! 25 Degrees and Sunny thanks!
I have emailed carsguide, so hopefully that gets published and we can get a few extra numbers on the day!
Who would be interested in a mini cruise after the carshow (Like 2pm-ish), it would be a sick as site seeing 30odd tough torry's rumble out from the carpark!!!

Guys, if you can please get down there at 8.30am that is the only way to block the car spaces off. Bunnings and the new boat shop next door get there early and start taking up random spots we need to be there to block off all outside autobarn, takes about 5 to 10 cars to block the entrances off, so please make it down at 8.30am not 9am when the shop is open.
still working on boss to get you guys a discount on the day, see what happens. and as its a laid back car show there isnt any trophys etc, but maybe on the day if we get a big turn out he might give something away, but im a bit wishful thinking, hehe.
matty if you want to make up a flyer, as work has not done one, i can post that up and even send to work to put in window to advertise, just simple logo and details.
also does torana forum have any business cards or flyers we can have hanging around on the day to hand out at the desk? if you want to make up a flyer we can afvertise the forum web address etc, we can put on counter.

Ok - on another note: What do you guys think of opening this show up now a little bit now, to non Torana's too?? (Not just anything, but mates with nice cars). Obviously it's still going to be heavily Torana based, but it wouldn't hurt to get along some more cool cars (especially muscle cars) to give people more to look at. Matt, Deb and I had hoped the list would be 3 time this size. If we can still get 10 - 20 Torana's, that's cool, but if we get another bunch of other cool stuff, it can only help in my opinion.
