hey guys, i'm pretty local (burwood east) and was thinking of coming down, but coz i'm kinda new was a little bit hesitant

still in l's so dad would have to come too, but kinda haven't asked him yet

would like to come for a drive down( so i can represent the lj community: although it aint much special)

Actually - for those who don't know, next door to Autobarn is a brand new BCF store - Boating, Camping, Fishing. It's massive! So there are 3 cool shops to waste time in. Also a Good Guys and Spotlight just over the road, not to mention the hot jam donut man as well.... hahahaha :)

Yeah well I was out with Brad yesterday arvo/evening and he will be swinging by early, but heading off to go to work after an hour or so. I should be there for the whole lot :)

Good stuff Brad, Paul, Briana, and Timbo, you guys have boosted the list up nicely.

I'm printing off a couple of your flyers Matt in A3 here at work. On the day, I'll try to bring along an A-Frame or something, and set it up centrally with the flyers on it, so the general public will know who we are. We'll also whack some up on the store windows and stuff.

As everyone rocks up with their cars too, I think rather than just park in the normal parking spaces (boring), we'll either angle park, or stagger the cars around randomly - this generally makes little car shows like these look much better and stand out more.

Anyone who has a GMH-Torana forum polo top, wear them on the day too if you're keen.

Does anyone here have contact details for CRUZSSS and CRUZLC??? He always seems very keen for taking those babies to the local car shows, would really like to contact him and at least make him aware of this Sunday...

Well, during the dyno on tuesday night my gearbox decided to pack it in so all i have is 5 neutral gears and park in my gearbox now so the torrie wont be making it down unfortiunetly... Spew! I'll pop down and have a look though at some stage in the day.

Good stuff guys!

This is going to be an ACE day! I totally agree with what you said earlier Brett, about getting the cars to park on an Angle, That will look good and let people know that the cars are on display, and not just parked there. Would be handy to have someone to direct us where to park. Maybe Brett and I can put on the Hi-Vis jackets and try and get people to park correctly for the first 30min or so (When most people will show up).

It always looks better when everyone parks level and evenly! (I'm the worse for that... You reverse park, get out and then think "opps, could have parked back/forward a bit more!")
