it was rather expensive man i should never have bought it.
It was $600 roughly then i had to buy a billet boss kit as well.
I reckon one would look sweet in your car man

yeah, I figured between 400-600.

Ive seen some around the $300 buck mark that are ok, but they dont come with the horn button, so another hundred or so, then the boss kit (as you said) so it all ends up bloody expensive anyway.

Looks like you arent cutting any corners with it though, would be great to get some complete pictures,

what wheels are you running?

MRLXSS yeah we are very much isolated over here in perth thinkin about a trip over east in about 2 years once i have built another motor for it take it to summernats or something. But the girlfriend wants a house soon so my spending may get cut only a little though. And congrats on the young gun section in street machine (a bit late i know) you have one extremly nice car. Im hopeing to get my car in that section too im only 21 now and hopefully it will be finished before i turn 22.

orangeLJ yeah this one came with the horn im guessing thats why it was so expensive and the boss kit was 150 from memory another present from the girlfriend though. Hahhaha it started as a quick rebuild and has just blown out of the water now but i figure do it right the first time.
Wheels are 17x7 and 17x10 intro billets but they are a billet specialities design which intro copied for me so i could get the soft lip dish instead of step lip

When its done, let me know! I have actually picked up some freelance work with Street Machine, So I can word up the guy in charge (not that its needed, one look at your car and it will be in there!) You only have to be around 21, so 22 is fine! (I was 22 when mine went in, and my Missus who is in this months, is 22 as well)

Hopefully you get a chance to bring it across when your done! Come cruise the Great Ocean Rd!

This thing looks awesome! Great colour choice, ace wheels, loving the steering wheel and intake manifold. Can't wait to see more pics and see it all finished off. Nice work mate.

by far my favourite hatch on here.

Love it.

What are the seats?

They look like early recaros? with different headrests?

Those wheels are great too, I had a friend with the 15 inch version on his HR ute. I would have loved to have them for the torry, but never had the money, and he loved them too much to let them go for cheap!

Just one thing, why didnt you just sandblast the manifold? the ceramic coat usually covers up any small imperfections (such as the sand blasting finish)

might have saved you a shitload of time and sore fingers!

My only bit of constructive criticism is go for black annodized fittings with the braided line, the blue and red look is everywhere! black or machined alloy finish on them would fit in perfectly with the rest of the car and make it look a whole lot better IMO.

chris the seats are scheel as josh said they are the 2 pair i bought the first pair i got frieghted over from nsw only to find out they were beyond repair all the winders and mechanics were fkd out. They are a very comfy seat these ones came out of a rs2000 escort but you can get them from esp falcons and brock commodores.
With sandblasting the manifold i thought that it wouldnt cover up the imperfections and would leave it all crappy looking next time i will look into it more before i start sanding hahaha. The fittings for the car are blue and red sorry i have already brought them but thank you for your honest opinion i will look at using them for the next engine i wanna build myself for it. but dont tell my girlfriend shhhhh

Cheers ayden

hahaha, dont worry, what she doesnt know wont hurt her (but when she finds out she may hurt you!)

I just see the red and blue fittings everywhere, and especially in your bay (black, chrome and orange) they are going to stand out like dogs balls! haha.
