cruise control

hi all

at the moment i am looking at putting cruise control into my lh v6
i am thinking of using the factory unit out of a vn i was wondering what
items do i need to get it to work

Thats interesting, Im guessing you will need the electronic speedo pickup sensor setup thats ususally on the V6 commodores.
You may need a body control module(maybe), definately the cruise control switch, the cruise module itself and the stop lamp switch.
Not sure what else.

You won't need a Body Control Module (VN's and VQ Series I don't have BCM's, introduced into VP Calais and VQ Series II).

I'm not too sure of the speed signal that the Cruise Control Module requires though. It may be modified (frequency divider/multipier circuit???) and not direct from the VSS.

If for some reason the factory unit does not end up being a system that is feasible to install, there are aftermarket kits which I have seen installed with success. :)
