my 1974 lh torana project

thought i better put some pics up bout the car i been askin soo many questions about lol
its a 1974 lh 308 stroked to 325 so should be fun dont know weather to go a pastle purple of go full original granny specs

Is the colour Saffron, not many around that colour

i think its autumn gold yeah dont see many i was gonna respray it to keep it as a sleeper lol shepparton cops are pretty bad lol

just quick update got the motor running just gotta work out some paint and wheels stil dont know weather to go original/sleeper thanks for any feedback

Holy moly that looks sexy in the bay, just gotta get a decent alternator bracket. You've shaved the heater box as well have you? I can't quite tell in the photo. Also, what inlet manifold is that?

yeah i need a new bracket, yeah got rid of the heater box bit more room .its a torque power dual plain just gotta get a spacer but do that after rego

How you going to put that much power through a three on the tree? Can they take it?

ha ha nah i got a differnt steering coloumn for it , be a bit scarey using a column , there is a kh prem up this way with a big block thats on the coloumn lol

hi willeyg i reckon you should go in between fully sick and granny spec ,wild on the inside but mild on the outside and keep your foot off the right peddle because you might get some bad publicity that you don,t need anyway all best with the build cheers billywest

hi guys finally got a update painted my car and put it back together and it even got a drive around the block, just need a bit of a clean up and a bit of dodgey wiring fixed, maybe some wheels

ha nah not really few dramas mega good before i started the car then went pretty spongy , and my handbrake cables a few inchs too short got no idea

Time to bleed the brakes again. Are you using the torana hand brake cables or the HQ ones. Is it still fowling plugs.

torana cable do you need hq one? . nah running alright at the moment blew a bit off black smoke when you rev it up drivin didnt get it over 5 grand

No use the torana one, just asking because you have HQ rear brakes.

quick update guys gave the old girl some newish hubcaps just got it back from the dyno tune guy carbie was way out running crisp now the old 308 made 437 rwhp on his dyno, so pretty happy just need a wheel aligment and exhaust done now oh and wheels lol

It made good power, when are we going to Heathcote. Now you just need to pull that spacer from under the carby, get another air cleaner and a scoop so it will pass a RWC.
