saw your gtr in your thread looks great, nice colour.
still been working on mine of a weekend, fixed rear stripe below boot,
notice these early bodies have no pressing on inner guard drivers side, for battery box , the later bodies had a pressing on that side for export cars.

i think it still will be a lot more months,as i have to go right over wirering harness, and rebuild heater box,and lots of other small bits and peices.
paiting small parts takes lots of time, and is painful ,as not much seems to be happening, the air cleaner is sanded back and ready to paint, but theres still heaps of other bits to do.
slow and steady will make a good car.

had a NOS tail light,so took it to paint shop to match red colour,we ended up using clear acrylic and added candy, which looked great, masking was a pain in the ass, just kept adding coats till the colour matched the NOS tail light, looks good enough for me.
fitted up the trim and stuck in the light frames for a look, with NOS badges, and i must say its enough to give you a horn,i think i,ll do the red across my blue monaro aswell, its that SEXY,may even get the missus out there later and sneak one in.
fitted up fuel tank and all harware, had to clean inside with acid, was a bit shitty.

i found it along the river bank after a flood, looked handy to me.
i,ve been rooting around finding parts today, seeings i have a large amount of hk parts,i find something that looks good ,start preparing it, then when i,m looking for something else i find better peices,so i,m going round in circles a bit.

Craig ,
A good friend of mine has a Sydney built Warwick yellow type one 327 that is very original .
This car is currently being restored so before it was stripped all relevant paint marks , stencils and stickers that were found we photographed .
I will post the LSD sticker positions for you tomorrow morning .

Look on the blue 186S for the door pillar and on the Woodsman green car for both door and boot. The green car is around the same timeframe from Pagewood as the yeloow GTS and was LSD. Stickers are still on it I think. I have the bootlid off the blue GTS at home.

As much as you've got,
The rear passenger footwell has taken a big hit at some stage and is a mess, the drivers side rear footwell has a tear where the sway bar mount has punched through the floor, and the drivers footwell has some rough rust scale that could be cleaned up, if not replaced.

I have looked high and low for the door jam picture but can't find it so can't help you with that unfortunately.
The bootlid sticker and its position are how it left the factory (Sydney car). It is in a very different position to bullit's.

it seems the door pillars are basicly the same,i,ll add a HT monaro pic that i have, and it appears to be the same.i,m sure i,ve seen the boot stickers in a different place aswell.
yel-327,thanks byron, forgot about those cars, one problem,it,ll take a day to move all the panels and shit to open them up,maybe i should try to get to the green one as the time frame is nearly to the day.
A9X,rear floor sections i,ll have to look around, get back to ya.
while i was searching through my pictures i found some of a monaro i started to build, then lost interest and pushed into another shed and coved in panels and crap.

Your monaro's looking great. It's good to see one coming back to life. My brothers neighbour has a Warwick Yellow 327 that he purchased new. It doesn't come out very often (for rego every year). I did some work for him when I was a teenager (when I was looking for an xu-1) and he offered to sell it to me for $20k. That was a lot of money back then! (about 1988) I remember looking at it and he was telling me all about it, it had done 60k miles back then, couldn't imagine it would have done more now. Last I heard he was going to pass it on to his nephew when he passes (lucky bugger!)

hi yoda,
mate you wouldn,t have a picture for us all to see how they were delivered, back in the day, or pics of the boxes or any evidence ,as it has importance to us guys, fingres crossed you kept something.
you did the right thing to offer them, and they are very rare.did you make wheel nuts?
They arrived complete with original wheel nuts and caps packaged in the boxes with them Craig. Plain brown boxes (2 wheels to a box) with the clear film on each rim with a slice of cardboard between them for protection. I have never seen this type of cap before in my life....... Plain chrome with a plastic sticker (CSA and a red slash underneath) applied to the surface of the cap. These are the only pic's I now have. Lost the others of the external boxing in a computer crash a few months ago. They had Mullins Wheels labels applied over the top of the original labels but I could not successfully peel one to see what was underneath unfortunately. Numerous people have now confirmed they are the real deal. I am amazed nobody wanted them!!!
I've got a set that look the same as yours,i chased these up when i found out that CSA/MULLINS wern't makeing them anymore.
i think mine are the generic type, but they look the same as yours , stamp and all.
Do you have a picture of your wheel nuts ?
sorry for the thread hijack
