I bought the book back in the 80s when I was thinking of building one.
I thought the sections on how to modify the clutch linkage, steering, sump, etc were all very handy,
but they could have fitted into a Womens Weekly article so he had to pad the book out a bit with the chapters on camshafts, engine building etc Which possibly weren't his areas of expertise.

...dont want to re-birth the whole XU2 - XU1 V8 - LJ - LH argument/ discussion....but......just got outbid on Eboy for one of those of' Build Your Own Xu2 books'...
I'm not about to race out and build a V8LJ , but thought it might be a good light read........anyone have one they want to unload?

They don't seem to come up for sale often so either peeps are hanging on to them for comedic or nostalgic reasons, or not many were published. Will keep an eye out for a copy for you unless you want to pay... $1,000,000...for my copy.
