Just found 2 FB / EK horn buttons in the shed and both are different.. 1 is silver in colour on rear with holden part number and short tailed lion.. The second is cream in clolour on rear without part number and has the long tailed lion... I have had these for some 20 + years and just wondering if one is non original part or something as can't seem to find anything about long & short tail lions... Any help will be great...

G'day,
FB's rule. Not sure on the horn, will ask the old man if he has pics, but this was our FB for a long time.
This was my car I got to drive on my P's and take my girlfriend to the vineyards and
cruise in. Had twin arials on the back and for a while I hung foxtails on em, lol.
The liquid type speedo was awesome.

Cheers

Whoa
is that twilight turquoise with gretian white??
My husband had one the same colour when I met him in 1994 - he drove it for years, drag raced it (hot grey motor, then warm red), eventually it became the tow vehicle for the EK drag car. He then did up a FB ute with a grey race motor for street use. Awesome!!

Black one: looks like an FB, think EK was blue stars.
Red one: Should be FC maybe FE, and if you're interested in selling the Maxrob steering wheel we'd give it a great home (had one in the EK drag car but sadly wheel went with it).
Cheers, Jo

Yep , dark one is closer to what I remember from the old memory bank.
Damn, loved that car, gunna head down to dad's on the weekend now
and dig up any pics he has and check the shed for parts.
Keep yas posted. Not sure on the correct colour code off my head,
will try and find out.
