Heya Guys and Girls!

I purchased some VN rocker covers and it has a nozzle missing on the drivers side cover as pictured.

What was ment to go there?

Is the one that is on the passengers side a PCV or is it just an outlet?

I was going to run one to a catch can and another a PCV to the carby.

I tried putting my old PCV valve in the hole with the missing nozzle and it does not fit well. The open hole has a key way in it so i cant see how it would make a good seal on the PCV.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Evan.

I would do exactly as you have mentioned, 1 to the pcv the other to a breather/catch can

Yes the one on the passenger side had a PCV into the throttle body and the drive side had a breather hose across into the air intake also (before the throttle butterfly I think). There should be another elbow like the passenger side one to fit into the driver side cover width keyway, they both had hoses running off these.

Definitely put a standard PCV setup of some sort on it, what you've suggested should work fine.

there is normally a short piece of hose coming of the passenger side fitting and then the pcv valve gets pushed into that.

They do pull out , i pulled mine out and turned to a dif position and nocked back in .
A lot of people take them out and weld in fitting , i run both of mine to catch cans.

No, its just an elbow. You need another elbow for the driver side and a PCV which you will attach via a short piece of hose.

The elbows do fit rather tight and they have a keyway so you can't twist them at all, they must pull straight out.

Excellent info!

Cheers for that,so i need a in line PCV from coventry's, if they can get one, and another elbow. Thats going to be interesting.

I think im gonna put my catch can on the passengers side so that one can stay where it is.

Ill run a pcv and a catch can, and see how that goes.

Thanks again.

Evan.
