Ok Guys,

As this is normally a long term planning project, i thought i would get the ball rolling.

Firstly, how many people are interested in getting up to Heathcote for another Drag Day? We normally hold it in March. In Past years we have heaps of people say that they are coming, then pull out at the last minute. This causes hassles for the people organising the day, and also makes us look very bad when we rock up to Heathcote.

This is one of the reasons why we have had to run our day on a Test and Tune recently, because we cannot guarantee them that we will create a profitable day for them. I am involved with a few different car clubs and forums. So if i can weave some magic, we might be able to arrange something so there are a few groups of us there, and say 50 cars racing and everyone is happy and gets HEAPS of runs in!

So, who is Interested?? It will be around March, 2010. Put your name down if you know your car should be on the road, and you really want to take it to the track and see what it can do. Put your name on the list, where it suits you.

Good stuff Matt for getting the ball rolling nice and early. I think your inter-forum racing idea is probably the only way to tackle it if you're keen to hire the track exclusively. Gone are the days where a club or forum can just rock up with 20 or 30 cars and race.... you need 50+ cars now from what I've heard.

As for me, I can't commit to racing at this stage... I'd love to come, but we'll wait until it's closer and see what's happening, and what state my car is in! Also bubs is due in January!

I was thinking maybe we could organise something with Tough Street Cars, and Maybe unofficially Eastside Cruisers (Cos i know they like to run one with Southern Street Machiners, Plus i want to have two club drag days! LOL)

Would be good to line you up! My car isnt consistant, I run 14.4, then 15.8, then 14.7, etc etc... LOL So would make a good race!
