I have seen Aussiespeed bringin out intakes for holden 6's for eaton blowers; I was wondering peoples thoughts on the idea of dropping one in my LC.All the eatons I have seen are rear induction; is there a top induction one round? Or will I have to use a downdraught with an elbow (if it'll fit)? I would like to make it as inconspicous an install as possible, at most an offset cowl style scoop. Good or bad idea?

Rear induction would be the goods if you want to keep it all under the bonnet, just hang a big side draught webber off the back of it.....

Cheers.

eaton runs cooler and makes more boost and parts are easy to get.
toyota works harder being smaller but is easier to set up and cost less.

So I should grab a VT-VX charger , or is there a better option?

Is that just a big adapter plate on an N/A inlet manifold?

yeah its a redline 4bbl hi flow II manifold, its a universal one on a 12 port head, if i were doing it again i would probably use a 9 port head and i wouldnt use the redline universal manifold again on a 12 port
i used a $57 moroso 4bbl wedge plate to level out the blower from rocket and the plate is 16mm and cost almost $50.
the single SU leaves it a bit undercarbed, it is 2" with a KX size pin from carburettor service company, the pipe from the carb (peice of mercedes benz exhuast) is also a bit too long, the dyno shop said the carb needs to be as close as possible to the blower inlet.
down the track i might go throttle body injection or LPG.
it still has the commodores bypass valve so the blower is only boosting when you get into it and cruising around taking it easy or sitting on 110 on the highway the blower is bypassed.
