Were talking about a LHD US import here not a locally produced thing
So yes 2 mirrors required as per the WA rules
http://www.dpi.wa.go...les/IB-106A.pdf
In order to satisfy these requirements it is recommended that the following work be carried
out prior to presenting the vehicle at an Examination Centre:
 Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
Headlamps must dip to the left, or meet ECE Specifications for right hand drive
vehicles
Rear indicator lenses must be amber for vehicles manufactured after June 1973.
Prior to that date indicator lenses may be red.
All vehicles must be fitted with two flat external side mirrors, one fitted on each side.
Dats,
you can apply to have the mirror issue waived if it will decrease the value/historical significance.
ie. you will lose points at concours as it has a non-std mirror fitted. that sorta crap.
If you are modifying the car then you'l have to do it.

The shippers have the Cad
My import approval isn't here yet but I'll chase that up when I get home to make sure its all cool
Now I have to wait for it to arrive... then stick it under a cover for awhile till I can get the bits and pieces done so I can rego it
Like electrical (convert indicators to amber)
Needs an exhaust
Right hand mirror needs to go on
Swap headlights
etc
