Hey guys, doing a re-wire using a painless wiring kit, in the manual it shows the wiring for the Headlights going directly to the lights without using any relays.... I e-mailed painless and asked if they were needed as Im using Halogen H4 Globes. They replied saying their wire is rated to handle H4 globes but im wondering if the stock headlight switch is able to handle to amps?
ps... what amps can I expect the headlights to draw?

Stock H4 globes are exactly the same power rating (60/55W) as the sealed beam headlight, they will work fine with the standard switch and wiring. UCs(fact equipped with quartz halogen H4s) used the exact same setup.
Of course you'll possibly get close to another volt at the headlights if you use relays.
