Looks as though the rods are a bit smaller in overall diameter around the crank pin, giving a bit more clearance for those running stroker cranks. Please correct me if I'm wrong.



you cannot run a 5.7 inch rod with a 221 crank stroker.

Ya could if you bolted a half inch thick piece of steel ontop of the block and got it machined to match the bores.....

:P.

why did i not remember that, but no seriously, its been done on some Honda 4 cylinder thing, aspirated ran 10.9 qtrs or something rediculous. im not makin it up

If you can get the piston with a low enough pin height you could. Hate to think what forged 202 pistons with a 1.00" pin height would cost...

For custom forgies with rings to your specs from $1000 to $1650 depending on who and where you get to make them.That includes Ross,Arias,Wiseco and 2 i have had discussions with here in aus.
