Who are you using Rory and Datto? Its a shame i didn't know about your container last week Rory, i have already picked out a company. They seem pretty good. They are charging $3000 for it including all customs etc.

I will only be bringing back what will fit in the Cad
And I aint paying the duty and GST on someone elses parts
Nor am I buying parts for people to get off me when I return... they must be paid for before I take posession
So if I bring anything back for anyone else they pay their own costs (nice if they helped with some shipping too if its a big item)

But no-ones asked for anything yet

yet

yep a crate engine (costs onlyat this stage). I will try and find the guys details, might not have them at work. His work is in perth somwhere. at work here we use a company called Antrak, they are good. if i have a job waiting for parts I can look up on the net and find out exactly where they are anywhere in the world, and from that can work out when to book the job in. I think they are also in Oz but dunno how much they charge.
maybe you should try to find an asian transport company, they would be a lot cheaper I would try for philippino cos they speak english.

Done your Tarrif forms yet?..What about Import Registry License for importer and the exporter (seller) ?...Lots they dont tell you until it arrives...then it sits there for 8/15 weeks while you wait for the forms to be filed out.

AGGRO,
The Tariff Valuation form is a B102 on Customs site and if you are clearing yourself you need to register both you as the importer and the seller as an exporter, Form 319, you fill out and sign on behalf or the seller. PM me the agent/shippers name and number, my guy might be able to get them into the same container. What are you bringing in?

Arrives in LA on monday next week (their time) if it arrives early enough on monday it will go in that day, if not the monday after that. WOOHOO

Wish you guys lived closer
We could all share a container
But shipping the Cadillac to QLD or Syd just doesn't help me much

When will the Perthies get together and buy some cars !!
