But what was the one other component all these cars had in common with the T226 TCX carbs ? ? ?

The one other component fitted in production from the 1-7-1973, the same time the T226 TCX carbs were fitted was the larger front disc brake rotors.
Various other components were also incorporated into production throughout the months of July and August 1973 with production ceasing in September 1973 of the LJ GTR XU-1.........

Prior to the 1-7-1973 GMH had produced 500 1973 LJ GTR XU-1s.......

But there were no new bigger disc rotors. They were physically the exact same rotors that were fitted to all LC & LJ XU1's prior to 1/7/1973.

They may well physically look the same until you measure them..........

hahaha ERRATA 10/8V.
I have a set of original rotors that came off a 72 XU1. They measure 256mm OD also.
Errata is originally the plural of the singular Latin noun erratum. Like many such borrowed nouns ( agenda; candelabra), it came by the mid-17th century to be used as a singular noun, meaning “a list of errors or corrections to be made (in a book).”
If there were new bigger disc rotors then 10/8V would be an Addendum not an Errata.

Don't you mean : hahaha ERRATA 6/6V : There is no mention of brakes in amendment 6 (6/6V) only amendment 10 (10/8V).
