Those front brakes are 343mm diameter and they look small in there
Imagine a set of 256mm stockers under those rims... lmao

Saw a VL the other day, 19" rims with stock rear drums. Looked completely ridiculous.
Big wheels need big brakes.

Toranas don't suit big wheels on the front. Maybe 18"s if you're keen and obviously as big as you want on the back (you can tub as much as you want but good luck registering it), but I think they look stupid.
If you need to put wheels like that to make people think 'wow' when they see your car, then your car needs other work, or you're priorities are out of whack.
There are a few that have been done like that though

There should be no clearance issues with the front tyres on a flared hatch and the right offset rims.
The car probably has a similar ride height to any lowered hatch, the wheels just make it look like it has been raised. The top of the rim is level with the flare, if the car was sitting DR70H14 the tyre would 65 mm inside the guard. I would not be surprised if the black hatch is lower than mine.
This my hatch which is significantly lower than standard ride height. It is sitting on rear 235/40/17 (620 mm) Front 215/40/17 (604mm). If it was sitting on the 20" rims the ride height would be 17 mm higher at the front and 12 mm at the rear.

Offset is the killer though, much harder to fill the guards to the outside with full diameterThere should be no clearance issues with the front tyres on a flared hatch and the right offset rims.
