I NEED TO SEE SOME ORIGINAL PHOTOS OF THE BLACK OUTS ON THE BACK OF AN LC XU1 AND THE BLACK OUTS IN AND AROUND THE DOOR OPENING ASAP..ANY ONE HELP?

The black above the tail lights into the boot shut line is different between the lina mint car and the plum car John. Is that one of the Adelaide versus Brisbane differences? Ta.

Thanks for them johnny..Which black out is correct for the back of the car .The rally red one or the linamint one? The other question is. Most of the black out shots ive seen in the door opening has the black finishing right where the sill rolls into the door opening. One shot you sent has the black going all the way under the sill plate. Does that make sense?

Also is the boot painted on the outside , a black strip , so there is no colour showing around the the boot lock in the duck tail gap .

cheers roger, all but the last one being the 71 bathurst is mine.

oz772, the plum is correct, the lunamint was one of the first cars i restored but you will notice i never lined the black with the boot wing.

phil, that black line on the sill goes in ten mm otherwise you see your car colour between the sill and door blackout

tbm, the boot never got painted with the black line until 73,, every time holden built a car thay fixed things, like the lj dash pad, you know how it has clips in the dash where the lc was all nuts.

i have heaps more if you would need them, i just have to down load to photobucket.
