need some wheels for my torana. its current got 15inch volvo chassers which look crap. i dont know what sort of wheels i want so some sujestions will be good. probably want to stay 15 as the tires scrap in the gaurd when turning hard as it is.

also i want to run a 225 rear wheel. wider if posible

simmons are always a good look, maybe keep an eye on ebay for some. they pop up every now and then. ive got 225 on the rear of my lc without rubbing and you might be able to go bigger. let me know if you want to sell the chasers cause i need some stockies.

i like the look of the dragway pro wheels.look good on all the drag cars with a fat tyre but i dont know how it will look on the rear with only a 225?

Well I changed to commy pattern and now use these, I have now polished them and they have come up a treat, I also threw some race tyres on another couple wheels. They are cheap and I reckon they look pretty good in particular after the polish (sanded them first then used the buffer). 225x50x15's on the rear and decided on 195x50x15's on the front, I did use small spacers on the front which I bought some scrap plate aluminium for $15 and it took me a couple of hours to get them right. I have different diff and brakes up front so if you went commy pattern you will have a slight different offset to me.

they started out as 16x7 10p offset wheels (3inch outer)

Im changing the front 2 wheels to 2.5" outers which will make them roughly 16x6.5 with an offset of 16p (factory is 19p from memory)

Im running a 205 on the rear (would need a different offset to run anything bigger, and then you would start running into trouble with the inner gaurd/arch sections I think.

dropping to a 195 on the front I think, will have to test fit a few tyres to see.

Also thinking of dropping to a 40 series tyre as the 45s are a bit too tall (compared to the original wheels this is)

Going lower all round to finish it off.
