You will probably find that being imperial GMH would have used 1/8" ( 3mm today ) fine line tape.
Easiest way to set up to paint these stripes is to buy a roll of blue 3m fine line tape. Start at the top edge and lay your first piece of tape down..remembering the first one will be the guide for the others so it must be neat. 2nd lay another one directly underneath the first one, then follow up by laying another one under that one....you should have 3 pieces of tape in place
Now pull out the 2nd piece and you have the start of the stripe. To make the thicker stripe I start at the badge end..there is no exact dimension here because they were all done by eye but approx 3/4" wide looks good. Lay this piece of tape down and at the same time you need to sight up the body towards badge, this part takes some patients, and gradually apply tape all the way to front to achieve the wedge appear.

On the boot the stripes should stop at the GTR Badge and not continue to the lip of the boot.
The stripes stop at the GTR badge on the side as ahown.
Yeah, I dunno - I can't comment on the 'rally' stripes across the boot and bonnet as my car didn't have them, but I thought the GTR stripes stopped (or started) at the 'G', that is, the badge is over the stripe?
