If you all are looking for a diff to cut down i strongly suggest that you look at the cross 6 or cross 8 crewman diffs. Being longer you don't have to buy new axles as the factory ones are 39mm thick and can be re splined at correct length for lc lj lh lx and uc. Also they are an 078 borgwarner diff so lsd 4 pin center is easy to find and the biggest bonus is the axle tubes are 6mm thick. Also come with 286mm x 16mm disk. Only draw back is you have to fit shock mounts on the back of lower diff brackets for lower trailing arms. 3.45 ratio too.

should be the same as LH/LX  1440mm ? , have a disc brake set here but its not on the car.

the UC disc axles are shorter but with the disc on the diff width ends up about the same

I found theses photos somewhere on the web.

The measurement indicates it's 1430mm wide but the next pic of the same diff shows the disc is off on the other end.

The photos are a bit confusing to conclude the UC disc diff is shorter than the standard 1440mm.

Hence wanting a second confirmation.
