Oh yeah, I was just curious because they wanted to know really in depth info about my LC and I was pretty confused. Any other insurance company would increase your premium thinking you are a hoon.

By the way, going back to the polishing, is there some sort of attachment available to adapt a buff to a grinder or rotator polisher? The grinder is ok but for big shit it's no good.

Yeah you buy a spindle that comes in either left or right handed thread, you can then put that onto either side of a bench grinder or onto a barrel grinder.

What kind of grinder? Angle grinder? I wouldn't be using an angle grinder for polishing. Rpm too high and not enough grunt. Bench grinder is the weapon of choice and for big stuff use a barrel grinder

Yeah angle grinder, never even occurred to me that what i said made no sense. Yeah probably a bit fast but i have seen pro's do it with 7-9" inch polishers/grinders. Its hard to use the bench grinder for stuff you cant really hold in the air, but i will look into barrel grinders. To be honest i had never heard of one until you mentioned it.

Cheers

My sisters mate reversed her Getz out from the other side of the road (solid 5m away) straight back Into it and just drove off. My sister was In the car aswell. My brother came home n asked wat happened, thought he was fuking around. I was ready to crack skulls. The guard was pressed right down into the tyre u had to pull it out to move it. Why are some people so fkn retarded

Plan was to do nitrous tune next weekend and iron out any bugs before nostalgia drags and Holden v ford

bit of an update, qtr, damage was only to that panel a new one has been sourced and is getting painted atm.
On a happier note, i want to race the car before the end of season (may) new nitrous solenoid has arrived and ive got some 15x7s modified with a 110mm backspacing, also got some mt streets 235/60/15s. They are about 2 inches taller than current tyres that i did my 12.27 on.

they are a tight fit and only just squeeze under there, my suspension travel is pretty minimal, hopefully they dont touch when it squats.

VS statesman seats have been fitted, back seat had to have 70mm cut off each side and the bases are grafted onto my torana ones so it retains all torana rails etc but gets commodore adjustments, they have just been put in for now and once iv e raced the car and im happy the interior will be stripped and trimmed, will add too much weight for now

couldnt get dash tacho to work, so had to fit a monster, hid it down low, lol.
